Manifestação do Movimento de Utentes dos Transportes Publicos

No passado dia 21 de Abril o movimento de Utentes do Transportes Publicos da Área Metropolitana do Porto (MUT/AMP) manifestou-se contra a intrangigencia da administração da STCP em tornar o serviço publico dos transportes realmente acessivel e de acordo com as necessidades dos utentes - o que não acontece com a chamada Nova Rede,autoritáriamente imposta às populações, sem qualquer consulta prévia a estas e sem ter em conta a realidade social concrecta do chamado Grande Porto.
Cerca de 700 pessoas manifestaram-se contra os novos tarifários, a bilhética confusa (e sem preço impresso nos bilhetes),os novos horarios de autocarros- desfazados das necessidades dos utentes, a eliminação de linhas, os transbordos excessivos, a falta de acesso aos autocarros dos utentes deficientes motores e algumas outros disparates e ilegalidades proporcionados pela "Nova Rede". A Terra Viva AES que participa neste movimento popular tomou parte também na organização de mais esta acção de protesto.

A manifestação teve inicio na Praça da Liberdade e terminou à porta do Governo civil do Porto, onde uma delegação do MUT-AMP entregou ao governo civil um documento reclamando a sua intervenção face ao "autismo" da administração da STCP e à sua indisponibilidade real em aceitar e ouvir as reclamações do MUT/AMP em melhorar e tornar a nova rede de transportes publicos da cidade do Porto, util e acessivel para aqueles que diariamente gastam o que não podem em metro, autocarros e muitos (sem outras alternativas de transporte) em taxis.
São muitas as injustiças com que os utentes dos transportes publicos da área metropolitana do Porto se confrontam cada vez que utilizam os serviços da STCP.
Esta nova administração dos STCP está a precisar, de um transbordo, pois o actual "autocarro" está já há muito cheio e não aparenta conduzir a nenhum destino certo!...
